A stroll around Petersfield Lake

If you’re looking for a great way to work off your Sea and Spud lunch, a stroll around Petersfield Lake is a must. After your walk, rent out one of the lake’s boats, where you can enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding countryside, as well as the ducks, geese and swans that glide across the water.

Looking for a break from the summer heat? Take the plunge and spend the day at Petersfield Outdoor Air Swimming Pool. A heated, 25-meter pool, this place is even perfect when the British weather isn’t up to scratch. From splashing around with your little ones, to hitting the lanes for a good workout, it’s an ideal destination for a summer’s day.


Butser Ancient Farm

Just a short drive from Petersfield’s centre, Butser Ancient Farm is a unique, experimental archaeological site that’s situated in the South Downs National Park. Great for kids, this farm places families into an ancient world where they can take part in a number of fun activities, from mosaic making to feeding the farm’s animals.
