The local community means a lot to us here at Sea and Spud, especially as our core customers are locals! To give something back to the community, we like to choose a local charity to support every two months and this time around, it’s East Meon Primary School.

Proud to Support Locally

As one of the seven primary schools in the Petersfield area that make up The Small Schools Group (SSG), East Meon Primary prides itself on being at the heart of the community. Nestled in the beautiful South Downs National Park, the primary school’s motto is ‘Creating a School for the Whole Community,’ and they provide a stimulating, caring and safe environment for each and every child who attends. By choosing East Meon school as our latest local Feel Good Giving charity, we – and you – can help raise money that will go towards facilities and extending the school’s learning spaces.

What is ‘Feel Good Giving’?

If you’re new to our Feel Good Giving initiative, don’t worry, it’s easy to be a part of! Our chosen local charity receives 20p from the sale of every large cod. So to get involved, all you have to do is order your usual cod and chips! Easy eh?

We Keep On Raising!

We’re really pleased that our efforts to support local charities has seen us so far raise over £1,650, an amount we could never have achieved without YOU! Thank you for being great customers and thank you for helping us in our charity drives.

Our Feel Good Giving for East Meon starts on Thursday 1st March right up until Monday 30th April, so don’t forget to pop in and purchase a large cod and we’ll donate 20p to this wonderful local school.

Feel Good Food for Feel Good Giving…it doesn’t get better than that!
