After raising a whopping £291 for Petersfield South Central Ambulance Charity and £250 for the Salvation Army, we’ve decided to lend our support to another worthwhile cause: The Rosemary Foundation. To help raise money, we’ll be once again donating 20p from every large cod sold – so come along to the shop and help us make a difference to Petersfield.

The Rosemary Foundation

The Rosemary Foundation is a Petersfield-based charity that provides a hospice at home service throughout the town and surrounding areas. The charity aims to help patients in the latter stage of life-threatening conditions. From practical help, to nursing care and emotional and counselling support, the trained nurses are available 24-hours a day. Not only that, but the care families receive continues throughout the first year of bereavement. So far, and just in July, we’ve raised an amazing £100 for TRF – and it’s all down to you!

A new charity this September

This September we’ll be raising money for yet another local charity: FitzRoy House – which is just around the corner from our shop. This is a wonderful charity that works hard to support those with disabilities – so we hope you’ll join in with our fundraising efforts.

In the meantime, make sure you swing by over the upcoming couple of months and help us to raise some cash for this worthwhile, local charity.
